If you have had a payment plan cancelled due to missed payments, you must pay any outstanding balance before you can apply for a new payment plan.

Before you start:

For payment plans

  • The minimum payment you can request is $20 per week
  • Payments can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  • Your start date must be within 30 days from today
  • Start making payments as per the commencement date noted in your application. Do not wait for your plan agreement letter, as mail can be delayed.

What you'll need to provide:

  • Your proposed payment amount, frequency and start date
  • Reason for requesting a payment plan
  • Contact details and property information

Important notes:

  • Missing payments may lead to cancellation and legal recovery under the Local Government Act 1989
  • Future rates notices are not included in this plan and must be paid separately
