Do you need to register?
All health and beauty businesses in Casey must be registered with Council.
This includes businesses such as:
- hairdressing
- tattoo studios
- ear piercing
- hair removal by electrolysis or waxing
- colonic irrigation

You may need a building or planning permit
Some health and beauty businesses may also require a building and/or planning permit before they can be constructed.
You may need a building or planning permit for a variety of things such as:
- building a brand new health or beauty premises
- changing an existing building into a health or beauty premises
- running a health or beauty business from your home
