City of Casey residents are encouraged to take advantage of a range of rebates designed to make sustainable living more affordable. The initiative supports households in reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and choosing environmentally conscious alternatives.

Council is offering rebates on several ecofriendly products, including:

  • Reusable cloth nappies.
  • Reusable sanitary products.
  • Composting and worm farming equipment.
  • Home energy efficiency solutions.

While sustainable products can have a slightly higher upfront cost, they often deliver long-term savings for both households and the environment.

Rebates available include:

  • $100 for reusable cloth nappies.
  • $50 for reusable sanitary products.
  • $40 for a home compost system.
  • $200 for eligible home energy efficiency upgrades.

Each rebate can be claimed once per household.

Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said “Council wants to make sustainable choices easier and more accessible for every household across the municipality. These rebates help reduce the financial barriers that often come with transitioning to ecofriendly products, while supporting our long-term goals for a cleaner, greener future.”
