
Get ready to experience the heart and soul of our local live music scene over two big weekends in July as the City of Casey hosts the Live and Local music micro-festivals.
Part of the Casey Winter Arts Festival, these unique events are set to take place across venues in Berwick and Cranbourne, delivering a variety of musical experiences that are sure to warm your winter.
The Casey Live and Local music micro-festivals are crafted to create intimate, unforgettable musical moments in some of our most loved local venues.
Picture yourself savouring an acoustic set with your mid-morning coffee or grooving to something more upbeat during an afternoon catch-up with friends. These activations cater to every musical taste and preference, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
Volume 1: Berwick
Saturday 6 July, 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.
Four local venues, Little by Little Café, Gather: Food Coffee and Co, Thirty Eight O Six Brewing and Lava Lounge, will each play host to a variety of music acts throughout the day and evening.
Volume 2: Cranbourne
Friday 12 July 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm, Saturday 13 July 11.00 am – 6.00 pm and Sunday 14 July, 11.00 am - 2.00 pm.
Experience a great line-up of music acts across five stages at Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre and The Amazing Grace. Volume 2 is proudly supported by Event Partner Vicinity Centres.
City of Casey Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff PSM encouraged the community to head to one, or more, of the local venues and support live, local music.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together through the power of live music,” she said.
“The Casey Live and Local micro-festivals offer a fantastic opportunity for residents to explore diverse musical genres while supporting our local artists and venues. It’s all about creating a vibrant, connected community.”
These events are part of Council’s partnership with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, under the wider Casey Live and Local program. This groundbreaking initiative aims to bolster the local live music scene, nurturing its growth and ensuring its vibrancy for years to come.
