Casey City Council (Council) gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with Optus Mobile Pty Limited ACN 054 365 696, for part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 09655 folio 920, being lot 1 on title plan no. TP115063W and known as 710 Baxter-Tooradin Road, Pearcedale, VIC 3912 (the Proposal). The subject land is shown hatched on the plan above.
The principal terms of the proposed lease will be:
- Lease term: 20 years
- Lease commencement: upon execution of the lease agreement
- Further terms: not applicable
- Rental of $24 000 per annum plus GST
- Permitted use is constructing, maintaining and operating a telecommunications network and telecommunications service including but not limited to installing, storing, operating, repairing, maintaining, altering and replacing and removal of the equipment consistent with the evolving nature of telecommunications services.
