Third-party authorisation

Council must receive approval (Third-party authorisation) from the property owner before specific information can be mailed to a third party, such as:

  • A property agent
  • A power of attorney
  • An individual, such as a friend or family member.

Reasons for giving Third-Party Authority include:

  • Permitting someone else to access information about your rates account.
  • Change mailing address and receive all correspondence about the property, and act on behalf of the ratepayer.
