Council elections will take place on Saturday, 26 October. We will be entering the pre-election period, known as the Caretaker Period, from Tuesday, 17 September.

Apply for a land information certificate

You will need a Land Information Certificate for selling a property or refinancing purposes. The certificate provides information on matters affecting the property made under the Local Government Act(s) or a local law of the Council.

The contents of a Land Information Certificate include:

  • the total rate amount for the current financial year
  • outstanding rates amounts as of the date of the certificate
  • any interest due
  • information around the value of the property

Fees

The cost of obtaining a Land Information Certificate is $29.70 and will be emailed to you within three working days.

In urgent cases, we can send you the certificate within 24hrs for $60.
