
Glenn Patterson
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Glenn brings a wealth of experience to Casey, having completed over 30 years' senior leadership experience before becoming the City of Casey CEO in September 2018.
His achievements in Local Government are extensive, having previously been CEO of Yarra Ranges Council for 10 years, as well as CEO of both Baw Baw and Colac Otway Councils.
Glenn has earned a Bachelor of Business (RMIT), a Master of Business (RMIT), is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and is an Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership Level 2 accredited organisation coach.
Additionally, Glenn has served as CEO of a Melbourne-based property development group and owned and operated his own property-related business on the Mornington Peninsula.
Glenn is also a Board Member of Procurement Australia.

Steve Coldham
Director Community Life
With a career spanning more than 20 years in Local and State Government, Steve has earned a reputation for being passionate about delivering positive community outcomes.
Steve has led programs that improve the health, wellbeing, and safety outcomes of communities for the Stonnington, Hobsons Bay, and Casey councils, as well as Transport Safety Victoria.
Prior to his work in community and human services, Steve was a communications practitioner with experience in media, engagement, advocacy and digital communications. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations), is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Fellow of the Williamson Community Leadership Program. Steve is a board member of Connected Libraries.

Jen Bednar
Director Customer and Corporate Services
Jen is a purpose-driven business transformation leader with a passion for driving sustainable operational improvements that have a tangible impact on customers.
With over 15 years of experience in local government, Jen has been at the forefront of championing innovative strategies and leading teams to think differently about delivering value now and into the future.
Jen has brought positivity and energy to the sector, reshaping the way Local Government places the customer at the heart of its operations.
Prior to her roles in local government, Jen gained international experience in offshoring contact centre operations and leading the customer and operational aspects of a significant IT platform transition within the financial services sector.
She also developed a keen awareness of effective stakeholder relations by commencing her career as a Consultant in Change Leadership at Deloitte Consulting. Jen holds a Bachelor of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science (Organisational Psychology), has accreditations in Change Management, Project Management, and Workplace Training, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jen is currently serving her second term as a Board Member for LG Pro Victoria and was a representative on the state-initiated Gender Equality Advisory Committee from 2021 to 2023.

Kathryn Seirlis
Director City Planning and Infrastructure
Kathryn is a dynamic leader with over 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, major projects and growth infrastructure. She currently serves as Director of City Planning and Infrastructure at the City of Casey.
Recognised for her strategic leadership, Kathryn is known for her focus on shared responsibility, decisive action, and the cultivation of future leaders through coaching and mentorship.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, and is also a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Throughout her time at Council, Kathryn has led initiatives that have established the City of Casey as a leader in growth and innovation.
Her accomplishments include implementing a sector-leading fee-for-service model, unlocking substantial infrastructure investment, and spearheading initiatives that increased local employment from 86,000 to over 103,000.
Kathryn’s expertise encompasses stakeholder management, governance reform, and strategic property development.
