About
The Sustainable Environment Outcome Strategy 2025–29 outlines how Council will protect and enhance Casey’s natural environment while supporting a resilient and liveable city. The strategy focuses on climate action, sustainable waste and water management, and the protection and enhancement of biodiversity and natural resources.
A healthy environment is critical to the wellbeing of the community, both now and into the future. By reducing carbon emissions, adapting to the impacts of climate change and promoting sustainable practices across the city, Council is working to minimise environmental impacts and strengthen long‑term resilience.
Through investment in climate mitigation and adaptation, improving tree canopy and biodiversity, and supporting better waste and water outcomes, the strategy helps create a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Casey as the city continues to grow.
