Who We Are
The Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place, located in Doveton, has been proudly serving the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community since its official opening in July 2016. Our primary mission is to provide a dedicated space where community members can drop in, participate in programs and activities, and access Indigenous services and support.
What We Do
At the heart of our model is the belief that strengthening our connection to culture is vital for the well-being of our community. By offering culturally appropriate services and programs, we aim to create an environment that fosters better health outcomes for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
The Gathering Place has been a safe haven where community members can come together to connect, share their stories, engage in learning opportunities, and thrive. Our commitment to self-determination is woven into the fabric of everything we do, empowering individuals to take control of their own journeys. The Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place is more than just a physical space—it's a vibrant hub that celebrates the rich heritage and traditions of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Join us at the Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place as we continue to grow, learn, and build a stronger, more connected community together.
