If you find a syringe on public property
Do not handle or touch the syringe.
Please contact us immediately by phone on 9705 5200 with the following information:
- Location of syringe(s)
- Number of syringes
- Your contact details in case we need to contact you.
Help us find the syringes by marking the spot with something like a branch or a rock if practical.
What happens next
- Reports during daylight hours: syringes will be collected within 2 hours of your report.
- Reports after daylight hours: syringes will be collected the next business day.
- We will notify you (if you requested) after we have collected the syringes.
Syringes on private property
We cannot collect syringes on private property.
