Hilltop Park Reserve

Hilltop Reserve is a place of Aboriginal significance. Follow the signage trail around the reserve to read about this history. This patch of heathy woodland boasts diverse plant species, including Manna Gums (Eucalyptus viminalis), Cherry Ballart (Exocarpos cupressiformis), wattles and sheoaks. The large old trees provide shelter for a range of birds and possums.

Birds of prey can frequently be seen circling the skies on the hunt for food, Superb Fairy-wrens (Malurus cyaneus) dart for cover between the bushes and snakes can often be seen basking in the sun.
