Important update
Children attending a Victorian Government funded three- or four-year-old kindergarten program can access the Preschool Field Officer (PSFO) program.
PSFOs support kindergarten teams with strategies to help children’s inclusion and meaningful participation in their kindergarten program and explore referral pathways if required.
The Department of Education has selected Noah’s Ark to be the provider of the PSFO program in the City of Casey, commencing from 1 January 2024.
For services wishing to make referrals for the PSFO program relating to children attending funded programs in City of Casey, please refer to Noah's Ark or alternatively email them via psfo@noahsarkinc.org.au
For more information, you can also visit the Victorian Government website.

Supporting second year of 4-year-old kindergarten
If the early childhood teacher identifies that a child’s learning and development is delayed in at least two key outcome areas, they may be eligible for a second year of four-year-old kindergarten.
The teacher will discuss this with the family. If the teacher or family require support with making an informed decision, they can refer the child to the PSFO program.
