The Community Selection Panel is your chance to do just that! As a member of the group, you will review grant applications and community award nominations, and make recommendations to Council on which ones should be funded or awarded. You will also represent your community and provide feedback to Council on matters affecting your community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of your neighbours and the greater Casey community. The group is representative of our diverse community, ensuring a range of different perspectives, cultures, gender and experiences are heard. If you are passionate about making a difference in your community then the Community Selection Panel is the perfect place for you!
Who is eligible to apply?
Please take note of the following requirements in addition to the full Community Selection Panel Members Guidelines.
You must:
- Be a resident of the City of Casey.
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in the role, a willingness to contribute actively and the availability to participate in meetings and trainings.
- Have relevant knowledge or lived experience through involvement in the community.
- Reflect the community’s diversity, aligned with equity and inclusion goals.
