eftsure – supplier payment verification system

The City of Casey uses eftsure as part of its supplier payment process to reduce the risk of payment errors, fraud, and cybercrime. All suppliers are required to provide business information to eftsure for independent verification before conducting business with, and receiving payment from, the City of Casey.

What is eftsure?

eftsure is an independent, real-time, continuous controls monitoring system designed to manage supplier onboarding and data integrity. It verifies supplier data during onboarding to ensure only legitimate information is entered into our finance systems.

This strengthens the City of Casey’s internal control processes and helps ensure payments are made to the correct recipients. eftsure provides a verified database of payee information and real-time alerts if any discrepancies are detected.

Verifying your business details

Suppliers doing business with the City of Casey will receive an email from eftsure inviting them to confirm their details, including:

  • Bank account details

The email will include a secure link to the eftsure supplier verification portal.

Why this matters

  • This process is mandatory for all suppliers and is critical to:
  • Prevent payment fraud
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments
