Purpose

The Berwick Village Structure Plan sets out a framework for the use, development and enhancement of the Berwick Village activity centre over the next 20 years.

Scope

The activity centre covers the traditional Berwick Village commercial centre and extends south to include the Casey Hospital, Monash University and Chisholm Institute sites.

General

The Berwick Village Structure Plan and appended Berwick Village Urban Design Guidelines (3mb) were adopted by Council on 6 September 2011. The Structure Plan and Urban Design Guidelines are approved Development Plans under clause 43.04 (Schedule 8) of the Casey Planning Scheme
