Hallam Gardens Children's Centre

Hallam Gardens Children's Centre has a medium-sized multi-purpose community room which is suitable for a range of activities.

Council elections will take place on Saturday, 26 October. We will be entering the pre-election period, known as the Caretaker Period, from Tuesday, 17 September.

Hallam Gardens Children's Centre offers a large community room available for hire.  

This facility is ideally suited to support the delivery of a variety of programs, activities and events, including but not limited to; 

  • Health and wellbeing programs 
  • Indoor sport and fitness programs 
  • Family & Children’s programs and activities 
  • Education and training sessions

Hire

Hireable Hours: Monday – Sunday (7:30am – 9:30pm).

For regular hire enquiries please speak to a member of the Community Facilities team before completing an application form.

Please allow 14 working days for processing applications for hire from the date of submission.

Bond

The bond is $300.

Bonds are charged per centre and are in place to cover costs associated with damage to the facility caused by the hirer and/or hirer’s not returning keys/access cards.  

Bonds are fully refundable at the conclusion of the hire term provided all terms and conditions of hire are met. 

Additional Fees 

If you do not have Public Liability Insurance, it is available for Casual Hire: $15.00 per day – This applies to community/not-for-profit groups and private functions.

Additional information 

There is limited storage available onsite for regular hirers. Requests for onsite storage will be assessed on a case by case basis.
