Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, Casey Council must consult with individuals or businesses whose information is contained within the document(s) requested. The purpose of the consultation is to seek their views on whether or not the document(s) should be released. It will be redacted if the third party advises they do not consent to remove their information.
Section 25 of the Act states that a whole document may be exempt from release if part of it includes personal details or irrelevant material. You can consent to these details being redacted from the paper to allow its release. If not, we will withhold the whole document.
